The news said to stay indoors. There was going to be a solar storm where the sun was going to etch out part of the Midwest United States and destroy homes and land. But the news didn't say exactly where. There were no instructions telling people where to move to to avoid it. It only told people to stay indoors. I was in my room in my apartment. I was afraid to stay by my self. This was a scary development. I asked my next door neighbor, friends from my former serving job, if I could stay with them and I was reluctantly let inside while the storm passed at night time. When morning came, we had been scared and nothing happened to us. It had been projected that our area might be safe, but that damage would take place not too far away, but no exact projections were given. I felt a sense of distrust like the news wasn't giving all of the information they had but instead wanted people to shelter in place so whatever death and destruction happened, there wouldn't be any panic about it and that people would just die quietly in their homes almost at random instead
This dream can signify feelings of fear, uncertainty, and a lack of control in your waking life. The message urging you to stay indoors in the face of impending danger where details are scarce could indicate a sense of vulnerability to unexpected threats or events that you feel unprepared for. The reluctance of the news to provide clear instructions or detailed information could symbolize a lack of transparency or trust in the information you receive from sources around you.
Seeking refuge with your neighbors and friends may indicate a desire for support and connection during times of distress. The fact that nothing happened to you in the end despite the initial fear suggests that your anxieties may be based on uncertainties and assumptions rather than concrete threats.
Overall, this dream might be reflecting your subconscious concerns about the reliability of information, your ability to navigate uncertain situations, and the need for trust, support, and clarity in your waking life. It could be a reminder to seek reassurance, communicate openly with others, and address any feelings of insecurity or mistrust that may be affecting you.
